Join Coach Tom at 5:45pm at the southwest corner of the Woburn High School track.

- Warmup at 5:45pm
- Warmup jog with each other either around the high school or around the cemetery.
- Workout
- We may not all start the workout at the same time. That’s by design. Different people do different workouts and train at different paces and volumes. Stick to your own personal training paces. You may be fortunate enough to have someone present who trains at the same or very similar paces, and in such cases you’re encouraged to train with them. Coach Tom will be glad to help you find a training partner if you’re interested.
- Be sure to check in with Coach Tom before you get into your workout if he hasn’t gotten to you already. The purpose is so he can make sure you understand the workout and he has a chance to explain or clarify anything with you as needed over a visual aid.
- The workout options are from the Training Schedule. Q2 from the race series workout option, or Tuesday from the fall marathon workout option.
- The race series workouts from the Training Schedule are compatible with any runner.
- The fall marathon workouts from the Training Schedule are compatible with intermediate and advanced runners; if you’re a beginner runner, it’s recommended to not launch straight into marathon training, but rather to first spend at least a few months to a year with the race series training program.
- The workout is typically done on the track. The workout may be done on the local streets or in the local cemetery, such as for T pace workouts or when the track is unavailable due to a sporting event.
- If you have trouble following instructions, you’re still just as welcome to come join us. Coach Tom will be glad to spend extra time with you if you show up on time to go over the instructions with you in person one-on-one before the workout begins. He also brings and shares a visual aid at the beginning of the workout.
- If you can’t be bothered with any instructions, don’t like the Jack Daniels VDOT run coaching system, or just prefer to do something else, you’re still just as welcome to come join us and do your own thing or some other Coach’s workout.
- Cooldown
- Cooldown jog with each other either around the high school or around the cemetery. If you finish your workout long before others are finished with theirs, don’t feel like you need to wait around; feel welcome to start your cooldown at any time.
