A group of Shamrocks are hitting the trails of Battle Road in Lexington and Concord, starting at 8am from the Fiske Hill parking lot. It is a beautiful out-and-back course along gravel footpaths and boardwalks, roughly 5 miles west to Meriam’s Corner, where there is a restroom opened in-season. Feel free to join us for any or all of it!

At 8am at least a couple runners are meeting at the top of Appalachian Road in Winchester for a run in the Fells. The orange, white, and green trails pass this point, and many options are available depending on the desired terrain and distance. 🌲🌳

The plan for the group this week is to meet at 8am at the Bedford Depot for a 9.2 mile out and back course along the beautiful Reformatory Branch trail. Any and all are welcome, feel free to join us for some or all of this flat course that is reported to be in good condition at this time 🙂

Meeting at 7am at the south Horn Pond parking lot, a group is running this 12.8 mile course in Woburn and Winchester. This loop style course is amenable to a variety of modifications to shorten the distance and cut back to the start.

This Saturday we have a group of runners starting from Shannon Beach in Medford at 7am for an 18.4 mile course to the Charles River, with an option to shorten to 8-10 miles by cutting across the Alewife Brook parkway to the Minuteman trail and head back. ☀️

This week we’ll have at least one runner starting at 8am from the south Horn Pond parking lot. Options that share the first 3 miles in common: Cummingsville and Central Square neighborhoods 7.31 miles Burlington Community Gardens 11.62 miles

This week the Horn Pond group is running from the Keyes Road Parking lot in Concord. To accommodate a variety of options for running distance, there will be two start times: 7:15am and 8:00am. Many of us are racing this Sunday at the Eastern States half marathon Grand Prix race and 20 mile race, but we do have at least one runner training on the Boston Marathon course for the group run tomorrow. This week the group has planned an 8am start from the Medford Boat Club for 12 miles to Fresh Pond and the option to add another 6 around the Mystic Lakes.
